🛸 Why Reserve a Chicken Share?
Chicken Share gives you a way to reserve multiple pasture-raised chickens in advance instead of waiting for individual birds to become available. You choose your quantity, choose your processing, and reserve your processing allocation with a 50% reservation payment.
🐔 Chicken Share Pricing
Your quantity determines your price per bird.
Processing charges are separate from the chicken price and depend on how each bird is processed.
🔪 Processing Options
Mix and match within the same Chicken Share.
- Whole — No additional processing charge
- Cut in half — +$3.50 per chicken
- Fully cut — +$7.00 per chicken
Your whole, halved, and fully cut quantities must equal the total number of chickens reserved.
💳 How Payment Works
- Reserve your Chicken Share with a 50% reservation payment based on your Chicken Share order value.
- An Online Reservation & Administrative Fee is added to the reservation payment. This fee is an additional charge and is not part of the Chicken Share product price.
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before your chickens are released for pickup or delivery.
Your reservation is not confirmed until the order and required payment have been successfully completed.

- Choose your processing: Whole, halved, fully cut, or a combination.
- Reserve your flock: Pay the required 50% reservation payment plus the applicable online fee.
- We raise and process: We'll keep you updated as your preferred processing date approaches.
- Pickup or delivery: We'll contact you when your order is ready and arrange the next step.
📅 Processing, Pickup & Delivery
- Choose a preferred processing date when placing your order.
- Your preferred date is not guaranteed; we will confirm the actual processing date based on flock availability and processor scheduling.
- After processing, your order will be frozen and prepared for pickup or arranged delivery.
- We'll contact you with the ready-for-pickup or delivery information and remaining balance.
📦 Reservation, Cancellation & Storage Terms
The 50% reservation payment is non-refundable if you cancel your order, reduce your order, fail to complete your order, fail to pay the remaining balance, or fail to pick up your order. The reservation payment will only be refunded if Roswell Family Farm is unable to fulfill the chickens reserved, subject to applicable law.
7 calendar days of frozen holding are included after you are notified that your order is ready. Beginning on Day 8, a frozen holding charge of $1.00 per chicken per week, prorated daily, will apply.
Chicken Share orders cannot be held indefinitely. If an order has not been completed, paid for, and picked up within 30 calendar days after the original ready-for-pickup notification, Roswell Family Farm may treat the order as a customer default and may exercise applicable remedies, including cancellation and commercially reasonable resale after any notice required by applicable law.
The complete Chicken Share Reservation & Payment Agreement appears on the order form below. Customers must check the required agreement and provide a required signature before completing the reservation.
