A $100 deposit is required to reserve your half hog.

$200–$300 Butcher Fee (paid directly to the processor)
🐷 Example for a 200 lb hog:
• $700 to Roswell Family Farm
• $200–$300 to the butcher (based on cuts, smoking, sausage, packaging)
→ Total: $900–$1,000
→ Take home 130–150 lbs of packaged pork
→ That’s about $6.00–$7.70/lb for premium, ready-to-cook meat
→ A $150 deposit is required to reserve your whole hog

🔍 What is “Hanging Weight”?

That’s the pig’s weight after slaughter, before cutting.
Your final packaged meat will be around 65–75% of the hanging weight, depending on cut and processing preferences.

Place your order below or online at our order form.
A $150 deposit for a whole hog or $100 for a half hog is due when your order is confirmed.
We’ll drop the hog off at the butcher and notify you when it’s time to make cut selections!
